The Cap Martinique race starts today at 5.00 pm!
Following the postponement of the start, which was scheduled for yesterday at 2.00 pm, it is finally this afternoon that the fourteen solo sailors and thirty-two pairs will set sail from La Trinité-sur-Mer towards Fort-de-France in Martinique, for a almost 4,000-nautical-mile battle across the Atlantic.
We are very proud to see our JPK boats making up more than a third of the fleet! JPK 960, JPK 1010, JPK 1080, JPK 1030… We wish all their crews fair winds. Among them are five JPK 1050s:
– in the solo category: JP Kelbert (PERSAIVERT), Alex Ozon (Léon) and Jean-François Hamon (Festa); Alex Ozon (Léon) et Jean-François Hamon (Festa) ;
– in the double-handed category: Régis Vian and his daughter Clémence (Laudato), as well as Éric Guigné and Maxime Paul (OSE).
This promises some thrilling battles on the sea…
