In 2003, JPK 960 revolutionised the race/ cruise concept combining outstanding marine performance and pure comfort. Winner of 2 Transquadra races and several Atlantic Trophies, the record-breaking JPK 960 remains unchallenged in its category.
Building on this winning concept, the JPK 1010 was conceived specifically for cruising. It's larger hull and optimised design meet all the latest IRC specifications.

A new design for solo and double
Perfectly ballasted, the 1010 remains stable and efficient in all conditions and demonstrates exceptionnal handling qualities.
Le volume de coque important permet à 6 personnes d’y vivre confortablement avec tous les éléments nécessaires : groupe froid, eau sous pression, douche, grande table à carte, local technique, etc.
Les éléments contre-moulés et le bois clair combinés aux grands hublots latéraux donnent à l’intérieur lumière et modernité.
On-deck, all manoeuver operations can be carried out from the cockpit which is divided into 2 distinct sections:
- The fore section is equipped with protected benches for family security and comfort.
- The rear section, designed for the helmsman and the mainsail regulator, provides a large quarterdeck area with ample storage for a relaxing, comfortable cruise.

Jacques Valer's 1010 hull design has been 100% adapted and optimised to meet the latest IRC gauge whilst retaining all the elegance, versatility and handling of the 960.
Surface mouillée, élancements, conception du lest, centrage des poids, géométrie du plan de voilure … chaque élément a fait l’objet d’une étude approfondie.
La construction sophistiquée en infusion Vynilester profite du travail d’optimisation réalisé sur les JPK 40 et JPK 998 pour obtenir un centrage des poids optimal.
The straight keel and single-rudder version is a force to be reckoned with in full crew situations such as 3-bouy contests. The 1010 bulb-keel, twin-rudder version becomes formidable when operated solo or with reduced crew.
