The 1050 elected french Racer of the 2026 Year !

The JPK 1050 has been named Racer of the Year 2026! The award ceremony took place last Friday at the Paris Nautic Show in Le Bourget. Jean-Baptiste Dejeanty, co-architect of the boat alongside Jacques Valer, travelled to the show to receive the trophy awarded by Voile Magazine.

This award recognises a fabulous season for the latest sailboat in our range: victory in the Spi Ouest France, podium finishes in the spring races, overall victory in the Fastnet... You can read all about these races in our news section (go and take a look, especially on the Fastnet story) !

It is also an opportunity to reflect on the past year and take pride in our collective achievements: the design by our wizard Jacques Valer in collaboration with Jean-Baptiste Dejeanty, as well as the meticulous work of all our composite, assembly and fitting teams who produce this true jewel of ocean racing.

See you in January for the European Sailboat of the Year awards, where we are nominated, and in April for the Cap-Martinique 2026 which promises to be very hot with some great people racing on JPK 1050 ...
