{"id":761,"date":"2015-06-16T11:24:00","date_gmt":"2015-06-16T09:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.jpk.fr\/?p=761"},"modified":"2026-01-19T13:14:59","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T12:14:59","slug":"le-bol-dor-d-eole7-jpk-998-acvl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jpk.fr\/en\/course\/le-bol-dor-d-eole7-jpk-998-acvl\/","title":{"rendered":"Le Bol d\u2019Or d\u2019 \u00ab Eole7 \u00bb JPK 998 ACVL"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Par Maxime BALLANFAT, son propri\u00e9taire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Eh oui, le chantier JPK a r\u00e9cement construit un 998 un peu particulier, clairement boost\u00e9, adapt\u00e9 aux conditions de vent du Lac L\u00e9man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si la car\u00e8ne reste identique aux 3 unit\u00e9s produites par le chantier, le m\u00e2t, la baume (le gr\u00e9ment en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral) et les am\u00e9nagements (gain de poids) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 revus.<br>Avec 2580 kg (gain 120kg), un tirant d\u2019air de pr\u00e8s de 14m50 (plus 1.50m) environ 72m2 de voiles au pr\u00e8s (gain de 6 m2), un spi de t\u00eate de 145m2 (+ 35m2) et des barres de fl\u00eaches boomerang, le 998 ACVL a fait le pari de trouver le compromis entre performance, maniabilit\u00e9 et rating ACVL (la jauge du lac L\u00e9man) acceptable.<br>Sorti du chantier au d\u00e9but du printemps, il a touch\u00e9 l\u2019eau douce alors que la neige coiffait encore tous les sommets environnants.<br>Rapidement, nous nous sommes mis au travail, r\u00e8glage du m\u00e2t, adaptation de la t\u00eate de m\u00e2t, essai des voiles (design voiles Gauthier en membranes Trilam).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jpk.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Q4L0751.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-762\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jpk.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Q4L0751.jpeg 600w, https:\/\/www.jpk.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Q4L0751-300x240.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Premiers entra\u00eenements, premiers constats, il va vite, y compris dans le petit temps (peu de surface mouill\u00e9e) et ne souffre pas vraiment de la comparaison avec les unit\u00e9s dessin\u00e9es express\u00e9ment pour le lac. D\u00e8s que le vent monte, le bateau se pose et se met \u00e0 cavaler, il faut cependant une certaine poigne pour affaler la grosse bulle (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement l\u2019affalage se fait au vent).<br>Un des moments incontournables pour tout r\u00e9gatier L\u00e9manique est le traditionnel \u00ab Bol d\u2019or Mirabeau \u00bb. D\u00e9part Gen\u00e8ve, une marque de passage au bout du Lac et retour Gen\u00e8ve, le parcours restant enti\u00e8rement libre. Le tout pour une distance th\u00e9orique d\u2019environ 75 miles nautiques.<br>500 bateaux au d\u00e9part y compris une flotte d\u2019une trentaine de multicoques (11 unit\u00e9s de D35 et 18 unit\u00e9s de M2) et pour toutes les s\u00e9ries (4) un vrai bon niveau parmi les premiers.<br>Nous avons eu droit a un vrai d\u00e9part de p\u00e9tole, rien, ou si peu, que m\u00eame avec une ligne avanc\u00e9e de 200m sur nous, les multis nous ont attendu. A chacun de jouer sa partition pour trouver \u00ab La \u00bb ris\u00e9e qui tue, le souffle qui te permet de sortir du tas\u2026<br>A ce petit jeu, nous n\u2019avons pas \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s bons et il nous a fallu presque 3 bonnes heures pour pouvoir enfin toucher les airs attendus. Nous avons fait un mauvais choix initial de positionnement sur le plan d\u2019eau et cela se paie cash, cher\u2026tr\u00e8s cher.<br>Par contre une fois le S\u00e9chard venu (vent Nord Nord\/Ouest) notre 998 ACVL a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 remonter, encore et encore. La gestion des transitions (h\u00e9 oui, nous en avons aussi) s\u2019est plut\u00f4t bien pass\u00e9e, ce qui fait que nous nous sommes retrouv\u00e9s \u00e0 mi-parcours (20h15) pas au top, mais nettement mieux que vers midi\u2026.<br>Comme il se doit sur un lac de montagne, nous avons eu droit \u00e0 un orage. Pas l\u2019orage fou, non du vent fort (25noeuds), mais raisonnable. Une orientation toute autre (vent Est Sud\/Est) et l\u00e0, c\u2019est vraiment sympa avec notre 998, grand spi et en avant on l\u00e2che les chevaux, quand \u00e7a devient vraiment trop pointu (il lui en faut), on passe au g\u00e9nois et au reaching, la cavale continue. Ce qui \u00e9tait sympa avec cet orage c\u2019est que la cellule \u00e9tait large (St Gingolph\/ Evian) et que la tra\u00eene restait assez vent\u00e9e pour nous amener en vue d\u2019Yvoire.<br>Bien entendu, la nuit \u00e9tait tomb\u00e9e et occup\u00e9s que nous \u00e9tions \u00e0 faire marcher le bateau, nous avions perdu de vue nos concurrents. Etaient-ils devant ? De quel c\u00f4t\u00e9 du plan d\u2019eau ?<br>Entre grains, passages de p\u00e9tole, changements de voiles r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9s, nous avions Gen\u00e8ve en vue. Nous nous sommes fait d\u00e9passer par deux grosses unit\u00e9s 36 et 40 pieds et nous nous sommes dis qu\u2019ils avaient d\u00fb \u00ab ramasser \u00bb fort dans l\u2019orage pour \u00eatre encore l\u00e0. Les derniers miles sont longs, tr\u00e8s longs, pas ou peu de vent et la fatigue qui commence \u00e0 se faire sentir. Bien entendu, pour ne pas d\u00e9roger \u00e0 la r\u00e8gle, on ramasse de temps en temps des coups de vents qui nous r\u00e9veillent (de rien \u00e0 15 n\u0153uds, \u00e7a fait un gros changement soudain, et la voile n\u2019est pas toujours adapt\u00e9e).<br>Peu importe, on franchit la ligne \u00e0 4h18 sans savoir exactement notre position.<br>En rentant au port un indice sympa s\u2019offre \u00e0 nous : les places \u00ab visiteurs \u00bb sont largement libres.<br>Rangement du bateau et direction le club house (que dis-je) : \u00e0 \u00ab La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Nautique de Gen\u00e8ve \u00bb (Club d\u00e9tenteur de la coupe de l\u2019America \u00e0 2 reprises quand m\u00eame) pour une m\u00e9ga bi\u00e8re bien m\u00e9rit\u00e9e. Un coup d\u2019\u0153il au tableau d\u2019affichage (r\u00e9sultats en temps r\u00e9els, car tous les bateaux sont \u00e9quip\u00e9s de balises de positionnement GPS) et nous constatons que nous sommes alors 7\u00e8me de notre classe et 30 \u00e8me monocoque !<br>La bi\u00e8re est franchement meilleure apr\u00e8s \u00e7a.<br>R\u00e9sultat final 6 \u00e8me monocoque toutes classes confondues en compens\u00e9 et 29\u00e8me au scratch\u2026.<br>Pour son premier Bol, notre 998 Eole7 a fait parler de lui et nous, nous nous sommes \u00e9clat\u00e9s.
