{"id":1121,"date":"2011-08-02T12:22:00","date_gmt":"2011-08-02T10:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.jpk.fr\/?p=1121"},"modified":"2026-01-19T13:15:03","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T12:15:03","slug":"pascal-loison-nicolas-pasternak-sur-night-and-day-jpk-960","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jpk.fr\/en\/course\/pascal-loison-nicolas-pasternak-sur-night-and-day-jpk-960\/","title":{"rendered":"Pascal Loison\/Nicolas Pasternak sur \u00ab\u00a0Night and day\u00a0\u00bb JPK 960"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vainqueur double de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape Transquadra 2011<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Je pense que notre bon r\u00e9sultat doit en bonne partie \u00e0 notre option de d\u00e9part dans le Golfe qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 de rester au nord de la route directe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il y avait une d\u00e9pression orageuse au sud qui remontait vers nous pendant la premi\u00e8re nuit de course; lorsque la bascule de nord \u00e0 nord-est engendr\u00e9e par le passage de ce front orageux est arriv\u00e9e, beaucoup ont mis le spi, nous&nbsp; avons mis un code 5 et l&rsquo;avons affal\u00e9 relativement t\u00f4t pour repasser au reaching sous g\u00e9nois. Beaucoup sont rest\u00e9s sous spi un peu plus longtemps, sont all\u00e9s un peu plus sud, et je crois qu&rsquo;il \u00e9tait important de ne pas le faire. Les fichiers montraient assez clairement que le lendemain le vent serait un peu plus faible et un peu plus refusant si on \u00e9tait plus sud et les fichiers minorent assez souvent ces ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes par rapport \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 en \u00ab\u00a0lissant\u00a0\u00bb les bascules et les variations de force du vent. Donc, nous avons ensuite b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d&rsquo;un vent plus fort, moins refusant, m\u00eame si aucun des \u00ab\u00a0sudistes\u00a0\u00bb n&rsquo;a \u00e9t\u00e9 oblig\u00e9 de virer ou de faire du pr\u00e8s serr\u00e9, je pense que l&rsquo;explication de notre tr\u00e8s bon classement \u00e0 l&rsquo;approche de l&rsquo;Espagne est dans cette option (sans parler des qualit\u00e9s du bateau que JP connait et dont il peut parler aussi bien et m\u00eame certainement mieux que moi).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au nord-ouest de l&rsquo;Espagne, on n&rsquo;a certainement pas \u00e9t\u00e9 les meilleurs. Philippe Vicariot&nbsp; explique tr\u00e8s bien ses \u00e9tats d&rsquo;\u00e2me vis \u00e0 vis du \u00a0\u00bb coussin\u00a0\u00bb pr\u00e9vu par Ma\u00eetre Bernot (vent de nord ouest sur la c\u00f4te espagnole), coussin qui \u00e9tait en fait associ\u00e9 \u00e0 un bon thermique \u00e0 la c\u00f4te qui a permis au A 35 \u00ab\u00a0Galat\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb, notamment de nous en mettre plein la vue \u00e0 ce moment l\u00e0 en prenant la corde dans le virage. Cela dit, on n&rsquo;a pas non plus \u00e9t\u00e9 les plus mauvais, \u00e0 ce moment l\u00e0 on \u00e9tait \u00e0 touche-touche avec le JPK 110 \u00ab\u00a0Ederlezi\u00a0\u00bb dont la pr\u00e9sence stimulante nous a fait nous arracher un peu et, m\u00eame si c&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas le temps du bateau , on est sortis de ce contournement de la pointe espagnole en conservant une certaine avance sur \u00ab\u00a0Ederlezi \u00ab\u00a0et \u00ab\u00a0Victoria\u00a0\u00bb, ce dernier s&rsquo;en sortant quand m\u00eame&nbsp; mieux que nous et reprenant une bonne partie de son retard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans les aliz\u00e9s portugais, on se savait tr\u00e8s bien en temps compens\u00e9 et on a laiss\u00e9 les autres prendre des risques; on n&rsquo;est surtout pas all\u00e9&nbsp; chercher trop la cogne pr\u00e8s du Portugal, pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 22 noeuds de grib maxi \u00e0 26 ou 27 qu&rsquo;on pouvait esp\u00e9rer un peu plus pr\u00e8s du Portugal, ce qui nous a permis de faire z\u00e9ro d\u00e9part au tas et z\u00e9ro accrocs de spi; il y a quand m\u00eame eu des passages o\u00f9 \u00a0\u00bb \u00e7a allait fort\u00a0\u00bb, avec des vitesses \u00ab\u00a0supersoniques\u00a0\u00bb permises par&nbsp; un spi sym\u00e9trique lourd de Figaro 2, \u00e0 la fois tr\u00e8s solide et bien grand qui tenait le coup par 35 noeuds et restait pr\u00e9sentable par 20 noeuds; encore fallait-il avoir un bateau qui puisse descendre pr\u00e8s de la panne sans risquer le d\u00e9part \u00e0 l&rsquo;abatt\u00e9e. Je pense que tous les bateaux ne peuvent peut-\u00eatre pas tirer le m\u00eame parti de ce type de spi que \u00ab\u00a0Night and day ex- \u00a0\u00bb L\u00e9on\u00a0\u00bb, mais bon on va arr\u00eater de faire des compliments au 960 sans \u00e7a tu ne vas pas arriver \u00e0 vendre des 1010 !<br>Nos seules angoisses, cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Nauti-stock\u00a0\u00bb<strong><\/strong><strong>,<\/strong>&nbsp;qui revenait tr\u00e8s fort et dont nous ne nous m\u00e9fions pas assez quand on a pass\u00e9 Finisterre tellement il nous semblait \u00ab\u00a0lojn\u00a0\u00bb (mais \u00e7a va vite un 1010), et&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;la ligne de casiers qu&rsquo;on a p\u00each\u00e9e 5 milles avant l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e; on venait d&rsquo;avoir le classement de 21 heures, qui nous rassurait sur \u00ab\u00a0Nauti-stock\u00a0\u00bb (on a appris apr\u00e8s coup qu&rsquo;ils n&rsquo;avaient plus de grand spi), le moral \u00e9tait donc tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9, on avait quasiment vendu la peau de l&rsquo;ours, et l\u00e0 dans la nuit bien noire, le bateau s&rsquo;arr\u00eate, repart \u00e0 5 noeuds (mais il allait \u00e0 9 avant), et la mer est illumin\u00e9e par les flash-lights de la bou\u00e9e (\u00e9norme) qu&rsquo;on trainait, coinc\u00e9e&nbsp;sous le bateau; m\u00eame si on a pens\u00e9 que le comit\u00e9 d&rsquo;accueil faisait bien les choses et nous offrait un \u00ab\u00a0son et lumi\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb pour l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e, \u00e7a nous a fait perdre pas loin d&rsquo;une demi heure, la seule fa\u00e7on de s&rsquo;en d\u00e9barrasser ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 d&rsquo;affaler le spi, de faire une belle marche arri\u00e8re \u00e0 la voile, de couper le bout et&#8230;&#8230;.. d&rsquo;attendre que le vent revienne car on s&rsquo;\u00e9tait tellement abrit\u00e9s au ras de l&rsquo;il\u00f6t Cima pour faire cette fine manoeuvre qu&rsquo;on a un moment cru qu&rsquo;on allait y rester tanker toute la nuit&#8230;.On imaginait pendant ce temps l\u00e0 les Croy\u00e8re, d\u00e9j\u00e0 arriv\u00e9s, qui buvaient des bi\u00e8res et commen\u00e7aient \u00e0 y croire, et \u00ab\u00a0Victoria\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Nauti-stock\u00a0\u00bb qui allaient nous faire l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur, bref les p\u00eacheurs portugais ont d\u00fb avoir les oreilles qui sifflent &#8230;.<br>Merci encore \u00e0 Jacques Valer d&rsquo;avoir dessin\u00e9 un \u00a0\u00bb tr\u00e8s bon bateau de vieux\u00a0\u00bb, et \u00e0 JP Kelbert de l&rsquo;avoir habitu\u00e9 \u00e0 aller vite dans la bonne direction; je l&rsquo;adore ce bateau,surtout quand il y a de la brise !<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vainqueur double de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape Transquadra 2011 Je pense que notre bon r\u00e9sultat doit en bonne partie \u00e0 notre option de d\u00e9part dans le Golfe qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 de rester au nord de la route directe.
